一个叫归纳法，一个叫演绎法。
of course i know that, but translations don't help at all. i still have problem with these concepts.
我记得，似乎归纳法是说，你通过很多现象，总结出一个方法或规律；而演绎法是那种你先有一个方法或规律，来解释验证现象符合你的方法规律~~
对，induction是specific to general，deduction是general to specific。我们老师说所有的theory都是deductive的，我一直怀疑我是不是听错了。
