Google is a political card?
原文指出,希拉里目标是harnessing the power of technology tools to promote diplomacy around the globe.

IRINA IS THE WINNER OF PROJECT RUNWAY S6

To be honest, Althea and Carol Hannah also show their strength. I loved Althea's jackets so much - I think in the shopping malls there is no one really-fit jacket out there; Carol Hannah is definitely the master of one-piece gorgeous dresses. All her dresses are impeccable, as Heidi said. But she is incapable of sewing pants and Althea always shies away from elegant-looking dress/skirt.
I am honestly happy for Irina, not only because she stands on the stage for the immigrants with American dreams, but more importantly, seeing her winning her father's tearful approval is one of the most touching moment of this boring show. I guess that must be ONE amazing moment for all daughters that had once been despised by the fathers for who they are, what they do, what they dream for. Of course, fashion, of all occupations, could be one of the least understandable dream for a rigid dad. Congratulations, Irina.
At last, the most bitchy girl beats the sweet and the stealthily bitchy one. End of story.
Here's some more info of this quite good-looking girl:
Irina Shabayeva
Age: 26
Birthplace: The Republic of Georgia
Current Home: New York, NY
Favorite Designer: Jean Paul Gaultier
Style Icons: Sophia Loren, Cleopatra, Queen Elizabeth
Favorite Past Project Runway Designer: Rami Kashou, Season 4
Though an immigrant from the former USSR, Irina would never be mistaken for anything but a full blown New Yorker. Currently living on the Upper East Side, Irina attended Parsons The New School of Design, where she first realized her true design potential. Her aesthetic is focused on sexy and ultra-feminine designs with a European flair. She describes her biggest weakness as her desire for instant gratification.
Why she thinks she’ll win?
Irina says she’ll win because she is “the best” and will “save the world, one dress at a time.”
Tim Gunn: "Her models look as if they've been in for a dozen fittings, and they haven't."
Performance before the last show: She’s won more challenges than both Carol Hannah and Althea.

Isn't it huge: Chinese President Congrats Taiwan Leader
By SHARON LaFRANIERE
Published: July 27, 2009
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/28/world/asia/28taiwan.html?_r=1&partner=rss&emc=rss
BEIJING — President Hu Jintao of China congratulated on Monday the Taiwanese leader Ma Ying-jeou after his election this weekend as chief of Taiwan’s governing party, a victory that analysts said could bolster Mr. Ma’s efforts to pursue engagement and economic ties with China.
Mr. Ma ran uncontested on Sunday in the election for Kuomintang party chief. He won 92.5 percent of about 300,000 votes cast, with a turnout of 58 percent, the party said.
Since his election 14 months ago as Taiwan’s president, Mr. Ma has pursued warmer relations with China, but not always with the wholehearted support of his own party.
“As party chairman, he can try to renovate the Kuomintang,” and try to overcome that opposition, said Bruce Jacobs, who directs Taiwan research at Australia’s Monash University.
China’s state-run media suggested that Mr. Ma’s election could set the stage for a historic meeting between him and Mr. Hu as party chiefs. In addition to being president, Mr. Hu is general secretary of China’s governing Communist Party.
Any meeting between them as heads of state would immediately raise the sensitive issue of Taiwan’s sovereignty. Contacts between the sides on a party-to-party basis might be more politically acceptable.
Beijing claims sovereignty over Taiwan, which has been ruled separately since 1949, when the Chinese civil war ended with the defeat of Chiang Kai-shek’s Kuomintang forces.
Mr. Ma has ruled out any meeting for now, saying that the Taiwanese people are split over the issue.
Mr. Jacobs said a meeting was unlikely. He characterized the exchange of messages between Mr. Hu and Mr. Ma about the election as “probably more of a formality.”
In his congratulatory telegram to Mr. Ma, Mr. Hu said, “I hope our two parties can continue to promote peaceful development in cross-strait relations, and help bolster mutual trust between the two sides in political affairs,” Chinese state media reported.
In response, on Monday, Mr. Ma said, “We should continue efforts to consolidate peace in the Taiwan Strait and rebuild regional stability.”
